Some moments of teacher bootcamp have really made me giggle and giddy inside. It's really true when they say you can learn about God through everything--and every profession, too.
They tell us, "Compliance is freedom" when instructing us on how to manage the behavior of a class. Isn't that a beautifully puzzling thing? But it is true. So in other words, if a student stays within the boundaries that you have set, then the student experiences freedom. Beautiful. And remarkably just like our Father.
It is so backwards, that freedom means following rules, not going completely crazy. True freedom, I should say. And it is so funny that a job so secular as public school teaching would model its behavior management tactics after Him, because that is what really works. I bet He just laughs at this!
Just thought I'd share that thought. More will be coming, I'm sure.
